Delen is a California girl loving the desert. After braving almost a decade of brutal New York winters, she traded her scarves and snow boots for sun dresses and flip flops. Having grown up in Los Angeles, Delen completed her undergrad degree at UC Berkeley, then moved to Syracuse, N.Y., to earn her master's degree in journalism. There, she worked for The Post-Standard newspaper and website for eight years. But the call west was too great. So, she and her husband, and their dog, headed to Las Vegas. Four years and two kids later, Delen is still amazed by all the wonders of her new home. Weekdays, she works as an editor at Greenspun Media Group's news magazine, The Sunday. Nights and weekends – when she’s not crashing trucks or building block towers with her kids - you can find her playing tourist: checking out the newest attractions on the Strip, heading outdoors for a hike or dip in the pool, or eating too much at one of the city's fabulous buffets.
